Vaught* Frye Architects and VF Ripley Associates Chosen as Business Cares Featured Member

Working in this community means more then just running a business to the employees of Vaught* Frye Architects and VF Ripley Associates.  For these two companies it means making sure that this community thrives and that they help those who need the help.  And this is why Vaught* Frye Architects and VF Ripley Associates has been chosen as its featured Business Cares member.

Congratulations Vaught* Frye Architects and VF Ripley Associates  for being chosen our Featured Member

Partners since 1973, Joe Frye and Frank Vaught formed Vaught* Frye Architects in 1986. Vaught*Frye Architects later partnered with Linda Ripley to form VF Ripley Associates, a landscape architecture/ planning firm, in 1996.  This created a cohesive team that included experts in architecture, landscape architecture, land planning, and interior design.  These companies are more then just committed to beautifying the community though, they are committed to strengthening the community through the investment of their time and money to make sure that everyone in our community is taken care of.   Their motto being: “strength in design, strength in partnership, strength in community.”

Vaught*Frye Architects and VF Ripley Associate employees give back to our community financially and by volunteering.  In April alone employees donated almost 100 hours of their time to helping those in need.  Employees are active doing things like painting at the Turning Point Boys facility and sponsoring a food drive for the Food Bank of Larimer County.  Employees at both companies are given company time each month to volunteer in the community and on several occasions throughout the year you can find employees out together volunteering.

Additionally, employees donate money to several non-profit organizations around Larimer County like: Habitat for Humanity, Project Self Sufficiency, Partners of Larimer County, the American Cancer Society, and many others. Furthermore, the company’s employee matching charitable fund makes donations to organizations and activities such as Treatsylvania, Boys and Girls Clubs, Taste of the Nation, and several others.  Their generousity does not stop their though.  They have also provided pro bono and reduced fee services in the development of some of our most important community facilities, including the design of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Larimer County facility and the City of Fort Collins Youth Activity Center.  This work made those facilities possible.

The entire professional team at Vaught*Frye and VF Ripley is committed to making a positive contribution to our community and region. They accomplish this not only by creating buildings and landscapes that are harmonious with their surroundings and add to the fabric of our built environment, but also in their commitment to give back through hands-on involvement with our community’s leading charitable organizations. As a team, Vaught*Frye and VF Ripley enjoy being involved in acts of giving that go beyond daily tasks, as well as being able to use their time and effort to build connections between employees and with the community as a whole.

When it comes to helping out those in need and using their talents and financial investments to help the community Vaught* Frye Architects and VF Ripley Associates do not hesitate to help.  And it is because of this passion that United Way 2-1-1 has selected these two companies as our featured members for the Summer of 2006.

Business Cares members are businesses dedicated to volunteering in the community to help build a strong economy of people who care about one another.  The mission of United Way’s Business Cares program is to work with businesses to develop community involvement strategies that benefit both the business bottom-line and the community.  Thank you Vaught* Frye Architects and VF Ripley Associates, for working hard to make our community a better place.
