Our Mission...
United Way of Larimer County's mission is to cultivate and mobilize community resources to change and save lives. How does 2-1-1 accomplish this mission? Mobilization starts by having the ability to access adequate human services within the community.

Our Goal...
Our goal is to give community residents the information they need to move them towards stability and self-sufficiency.

Our Service...
2-1-1 is your Community Connection to Services. If you need to know where to go for clothing, food, rent, shelter, support groups, parenting, volunteerism, and other types of community services, call 2-1-1.

Remember: 2-1-1 is for NON-emergency assistance only. Callers needing emergency medical, fire or police aid should always call 9-1-1.

GIVE, ADVOCATE, VOLUNTEER. LIVE UNITED

GIVE
United Way's 2-1-1 Call Center utilizes highly trained information and referral specialists who assist the public and give answers regarding community services in times of peace and disaster. People call 2-1-1 for:

  • Aging services
  • Disaster recovery
  • Donation referrals
  • Food, housing & utility assistance
  • Health & medical needs
  • Legal assistance

If you are looking for answers to your questions, 2-1-1 should be your first call for resources. We are your connection!

ADVOCATE
United Way's 2-1-1 information and referral specialists are skilled professionals who assess callers' needs, determine their options and best course of action by directing them to appropriate programs and services.

Information and referral specialists provide culturally appropriate support, intervene in crisis situations and advocate for the caller and their unmet needs. Needs are unmet due to a lack of resources, a caller's ineligibility, lack of transportation or a previously exhausted resource.

VOLUNTEER
United Way's 2-1-1 Volunteer Center is the central resource for volunteerism in northern Colorado.
We provide specialized volunteer placement and opportunities for:

  • Businesses
  • Faith-based volunteers
  • Families
  • Groups
  • Individuals
  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Youth

Whether you are looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity or a long-term commitment, we are your connection!

LIVE UNITED.
