United Way 2-1-1 collaborates with different agencies in order to provide helpful resources available to individuals in our Community.The information is taken from our information and referral database and is updated as often as necessary. Periodically we also post lists of seasonal programs such as Free Tax Preparation Sites, School Supplies, Flu Shots, Thanksgiving, and Holiday Resources.

 

Free Tax Preparation Sites 2010

The Piton Foundation works with hundreds of organizations across the state to distribute over 1.1 million materials about tax credits for working families. Partners include the state of Colorado, city and county governments, nonprofit organizations, including food banks, schools and churches.

A network of 2-1-1 call centers across Colorado serve as the foundation's referral source for people with questions about their eligibility for these tax credits and directs them to help with filing their taxes. 2-1-1 handled more than 7,100 calls during the most recent tax season.
