State of the Community Volunteer Awards
Deadline: March 19, 2010
The program honors individuals and groups who help create a stronger, healthier, and more united community through volunteer service. Every volunteer in Larimer County truly makes a difference, and while each nominee will be recognized at the State of the Chosen volunteers will receive a Plaque of Accomplishment and $200 to be shared with an agency of their choice.
National Volunteer Month

Recognize National Volunteer Month, "Celebrating People in Action" by advocating and recognizing volunteerism and individuals who dedicate themselves to taking action and solving problems in Larimer County.

Make A Difference Day

Make A Difference Day is a national, annual day of volunteerism; a day to celebrate neighbors helping neighbors. All week long, agencies will host volunteer projects and thousands of volunteers will join together to make a real difference in the community. MLK Day Celebration
January 17, 2011
Fort Collins and Loveland Communities will join to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by hosting various activities and events throughout the week of January 17, 2011. Visit www.mlkfortcollins.org for more information.
Board Bank
Volunteers are trained and placed in nonprofit Board of Director positions according to the needs of the nonprofit and also the skill set and interest of the volunteers. Trainings held quarterly.
